SERMON #003

Honored Brothers and Sisters of Amarr I come today to speak of a topic near and dear to the hearts of all Amarrian citizens. That topic is UNITY. The definition of unity above shows it is not individual parts but a combination of parts working toward the whole. A oneness and joining of factions to create on common voice. If one word could define our empire that word could be UNITY as it describes what we are as a whole. Certainly Amarr has its houses, its different traditions, even the different races like Amarr, Ni-Kunni and other races, but together we form the whole of Amarr and bring forth a dedication to the one true Empire of God.

Unity is demonstrated daily in the operations of Amarrian paramilitary forces. Recently in Providence a terrorist outpost was conquered by forces led by CVA with assistance being provided by several other Amarrian groups. This action led to the removal of a terrorist infestation just two jumps from the "Unity Station" of the UshraKhan and resulted in the loss of billions of isk in warships and towers to our glourious forces.

Unity? Of course. While each Amarrian paramilitary group has its focus, its objective, its operating area, its regulations and traditions, one thing they share is the unity of purpose. That purpose being the protection of the Amarrian way of life and the continued dominance of our holy Empire. To the loyalists who may pledge fidelity to one house or another above all else the Empire is the Empire and is ultimately what we support. That Unity has led to the great victory recently in Providence and to this day is present in other actions against relevent enemies of Amarr like the Ushra Khan and Mortis pirates.

What is the price of failure of Unity? Well that much is obvious. Look at the heathen Minmatar and their collapse as their factions fight it out among themselves for domination in their tribal republic system. Some calling for the death of their leader and some calling for her support. There is no unity among the terrorists except perhaps the unified desire to kill innocent Amarrians. They have no allies who will come to help them and stay with them. Why? Because they lack the unity of righteousness.

Unity of Righteousness. What is this? It's the knowledge that what you work together toward is true and faithful to God and the Empire. Every loyal Amarrian knows his purpose, is not tempted by the sins of the lessor races, is dedicated to Amarr above all else. This isn't automatic rather it is a choice the individual Amarrian must make and so many do on a daily basis. You don't see that kind of unity in the other races.

I've spoken previously in a sermon about COMMITMENT and DEDICATION and that brings us to todays sermon on unity. Having that common commitment, that unwaivering dedication to what is right, brings forth a working model of unity that can not be destroyed. Ships in battle may be lost but the unity of purpose will remain if the cause is noble and just.

That my Brothers and Sisters is why I warn you all today. The terrorists are fractured, downtrodden, defeated in battle, suffering billions of isk in damages. But they are not defeated. It is no coincidence the name of their last surviving outpost is UNITY. This is a warning we should pay heed to. The terrorists even if destroyed and driven into caves are still a threat to the Amarrian way of life. Until they are brought to repent and pay for their crimes they are a danger to the Empire.

These true enemies of Amarr must not be forgotten. That my Brothers and Sisters is the purpose of todays sermon. It is a warning. Do not be complacent and assume the victory is won. Do not assume the Minmatar enemies are defeated and in hiding. Do not celebrate great victories on the battlefield for we have all seen how complacency can turn against one.

Most of all maintain UNITY of purpose. Continue with the dedication and commitment to the Amarrian Empire and our way of life. Do not trample on the tennants of God rather follow His rulings and the scriptures and live your life to honor the Empire not yourself.

After all UNITY is the WHOLE NOT THE ONE.
