OOC/OOG INFO ABOUT PRAETORIA SHIPYARDS...
Praetoria Shipyards (PSHIP) is a roleplay shipbuilding corporation serving the Amarr Empire. The majority "owner" of the company is Archbishop an Amarrian roleplayer and Admiral of PIE Inc which is one of the oldest player corporations in the game. Archbishop is a regular poster on the Intergalactic Summit forum of the Eve-Online website (IGS).
The PSHIP company operates as a seperate corporation from PIE however operates with a close business relationship. Several PIE members are among the 30+ shareholders of PSHIP.
I have played Eve since 2002 (early Beta) and have been roleplaying with PIE for nearly four years now. My previous Eve character was Calladen Nimitz who was Vice-President of TTI after Beta. TTI was Eve's largest corporation after beta with 200+ members. TTI eventually lost it's veteran members because we as a corp focused on the marketplace in Eve while CCP was slow to develop market opportunties. The average age of the TTI member was nearly 40 and several members were actual real life corporate executives.
Calladen left TTI shortly after a large war started with the Evolution corporation and moved south. He joined the CFS alliance and eventually rose to be it's President. The CFS was the first alliance that attempted to hold "free space" for everyone to access. Calladen eventually left Eve for awhile as I had some real life health issues to overcome. After a four month hiatus I returned with Archbishop and I've been around ever since.
